- Providing exceptional patient care, including preliminary evaluations, restraint, and accurate record-keeping
- Educating clients about various diseases, procedures, and products
- Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography, and electrocardiography
- Assisting doctors in advanced surgical procedures, including knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
- Skilled in dental prophylaxis, charting, and administering various injections
- Monitoring critically ill patients, recognizing changes in symptoms, and keeping doctors informed
- Handling grief counseling and euthanasia concerns with empathy and professionalism
