This property is beautiful and full of positive energy. We're looking for a maintenance technician experienced in general maintenance work for the complex. The ideal hire would be familiar with the repair of plumbing and electrical systems, or eager to learn. This is not a job. It is a career. The person in this role will receive training and professional development to eventually become the Maintenance Lead. Our current Maintenance Lead has been at the property for more than 30 years. Skills (to name just a few):
At least three years of experience in maintenance work
Pool Certification (CPO) desirable. If not, a willingness to take the course and receive the certification
Painting
Plumbing
Strong verbal communication
Tasks:
Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment, ensure necessary tools are on hand
Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property
Daily work order requests
Comply with policies, procedures, and operating standards of the facilities
Maintaining pool water clean and complying with standards, cleaning filters and fixing lights
Reporting water quality issues to managers, testing PH levels for water quality and adding or maintaining chemical levels
We're looking for someone who likes to learn, as the jobs are not hard, they may just be unfamiliar. Some of the tasks require physical capabilities but we value personality and honesty more than skills. This job includes vacation pay, sick leave, and a 401K.
