Interim Admin Assistant Needed for Nonprofit Director
Executive Director of a Hawaiian nonprofit seeks interim assistance with both professional and personal tasks due to an injury that has temporarily left him unable to type. This position is part-time, remote, and flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours per week and up to 20+ hours depending on finding ample common availability, and skillsets. A mix of weekday, eve and weekend hours is preferred. If working with just 1 person, then someone on Oʻahu is preferred. However, working with 2 people of varied skillsets/availability is possible, in which case only 1 person would need to be on Oʻahu.
Primary Kuleana:
- Edit and clean up transcriptions from iPhone voice-to-text and similar tools.
- We have Search through a high volume of emails for content relevant to key topics, organize, label, add highlights of key excerpts
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and text reminders.
Additional Kuleana May Include:
- Coordinating travel logistics.
- Printing, mailing, or filing documents.
-Providing occasional on-site assistance as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience as admin/office/executive assistant or equivalent
- Highly organized, i.e. able to quickly prioritize tasks, proficient in task management
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible Availability
- Excellent people skills - able to work with a wide range of people and learning styles
- Proficient in Google Workspace Apps (primarily Gmail, google docs, and google sheets), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
