Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hybrid HVAC Installer / Service Technician to join our team. This is a dual-role position for a technician who can handle both system installations and service/repair calls. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
-Key Responsibilities-
Installation Duties:
Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, etc.)
Ensure proper system setup, refrigerant charging, and start-up
Follow job specs, building codes, and safety standards
Communicate with project managers and clients as needed
Service Technician Duties:
Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues in the field
Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups
Provide detailed reports and communicate repair options to customers
Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in HVAC installation and/or service
Valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
NATE certification
Experience with smart thermostats, zoning systems, or home automation
Familiarity with both residential and light commercial systems
HVAC trade school diploma or equivalent training
