Holcim is 70,000 people around the world who are passionate about building progress for people and the planet through four business segments: Cement, Ready-Mix Concrete, Aggregates and Solutions & Products.Description:ABOUT THE ROLE The Manager, HR Systems and Processes is responsible for managing HR processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement in process integrity and data quality, managing and/or contributing to projects, improving the employee/user HR systems experience, and holistically advancing the objective of low-friction, high value-adding Human Resources operations.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

Participate in HR projects, e.g., vendor implementation, post-acquisition integration, HR technology.

Develop and deliver training and materials on HR systems and processes to the HR user community.

Proactively manage complex, widely-scoped and/or cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Evaluate current HR processes, determine improvements needed, and work with HR team members, key Holcim stakeholders and third parties, to develop and execute improvement plans.

Perform and/or coordinate User Acceptance Testing as part of HR technology implementation

Consult with Human Resources staff as needed on technical feasibility and desirability of CBA provisions

Administer and coordinate Human Resources content on the Connect intranet

Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Field of Study Preferred: Human Resources, Business, or Information Systems/TechnologyRequired Work Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Human Resources; preferably with significant involvement in systems, processes, or projectsRequired Training/Certifications: None, but any of the following is a plus: SPHR, SHRM SCP, Project Management Professional (PMP), SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, or other similar HRIS certification/trainingRequired Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite; SuccessFactors preferred, Google Workspace or Project Management software a plusTravel Requirements: Infrequent; less than 10%Additional Requirements:

Self-motivated, with a passion for thinking outside of the box, and a strong bias for action.

Proven ability to effectively build, foster, and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal customers, vendors, and team members.

Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills; both numerically and technologically

Excellent data-based problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with payroll processing including understanding of gross to net payroll calculations and taxes, garnishments, and other withholding orders

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
