Description About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our team. As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks. You will work closely with our IT team to implement effective security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities:

Threat Detection and Response: Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security threats and anomalies. Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly.

Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in our security infrastructure.

Security Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures throughout the organization.

Incident Response Planning: Develop and maintain incident response plans to effectively manage security breaches.

Security Awareness: Educate employees on security best practices and raise awareness of potential threats.

Risk Management: Assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in information security or a related field.

Strong understanding of network and system security concepts.

Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
