Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.The Social Media Senior Manager role will be responsible for designing and developing social media strategies to enhance Schwab Network Brand awareness and increase engagements with our Brand. The role will oversee social media platforms for Schwab Network and play a key role in content planning and creation, ensuring we implement a robust strategy. This role will work closely with the Head of Programming, the Schwab Network digital team leads and distribution leads to ensure a strong consistent social approach building followers, views and engagement.Responsibilities include:

Performance analysis and reporting to ensure our social media content is resonating and will offer recommendations for improvements in an ever-changing social landscape.

Ensuring that we have coordinated, consistent approach for social channels and have scheduled content to match current, topical stories and areas of interest. This role will also help create, manage and optimize paid campaigns in conjunction with agency experts.

Conducting Market Research and Competitor Analysis, identifying the latest trends in social media to ensure the company or brand stays at the forefront.

Contributing to the development of creative ideas for content and social media campaigns working in conjunction with agency experts.

Managing the budget allocated for social media campaigns and ensuring expenditures remain within budgetary limits.

Monitoring and maintaining the company or brand's reputation on social media by addressing negative reviews or comments.

Develop cross-promotion campaigns of the Network on Schwab brand channels and collaborate for sharing Network content across ecosystem.

Respond to reasonable inquiries and comments on posts from Network follower base.

Escalate any Schwab client complaints to CAT in a timely manner.

Develop cross-promotion campaigns of the Network on Schwab brand channels and collaborate for sharing Network content across ecosystem with SCFR experts, employees, and executives to build awareness and amplify reach.

Managing a direct report who is responsible for social media and content creating.

Employees may have the flexibility for a hybrid schedule, following our hybrid work flexibility program where they divide their time between working remotely or in the office. This role is expected to be in the office 4 days a week for the first six months, then transition to be in office 3 days a week.

What you haveTo ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should haveRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or related field.

5 years’ related experience with Social Platforms and Social Media Technology Platforms.

Strong familiarity with designing and developing social media strategies.

This role requires a deep understanding of the financial markets, economic news cycles, social media, and the rapid changing financial news cycle.

Prior management/leadership experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Outstanding communication skills.

Strong project management skills.
