Now Hiring: Lead Carpenter – Deck Construction
Location: Lake County, IL & Surrounding Suburbs
We’re hiring a Lead Carpenter with deck-building experience only. This is a specialized role—general carpentry or remodeling experience does not apply. If you’ve built decks from the ground up and are ready to lead a crew, we want to hear from you.
Requirements:
Must have hands-on deck building experience (wood and composite)
Skilled in framing, stairs, railings, and picture framing
Able to read plans and manage layout independently
Experience leading or helping lead a crew is a plus
Must have reliable transportation and your own tools
Strong work ethic and good attitude
What We Offer:
$30–$40/hr, depending on experience
