Tricon Group Inc is looking for a welder/fabricator to join the Fleet Department to help maintain and repair equipment. Tasks consist of basic repairs to complete rebuilding and fabrication projects.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Working knowledge of body shop equipment and tools (welder, cutting torch, forklift, blaster, etc.)
Ability to Operate a variety of hand and power tools
Prepares vehicles by sanding and buffing as needed.
Knowledge of paint mixing and the proper use of paint spraying equipment
Ability to disassemble and reassemble vehicles.
Panel replacement and repair
Welding steel and aluminum
Straightening, filing, reconditioning & fabrication
Working knowledge of parts handling, verifying and ordering
Ability to identify additional repairs as needed.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Positive attitude
Aptitude for hands-on work
Understand/read work orders
Strong attention to detail
2 Years experience in automotive repair industry
