# Executive Assistant to CEO - Transportation Industry

## Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a growing mid-sized marine transportation company. This remote position requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage complex executive communications and scheduling.

## Key Responsibilities

- Manage CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements

- Handle confidential information and communications with executives, clients, and key stakeholders

- Assist with personal administrative tasks to maximize the CEO's productivity

- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports

- Support the CEO's day-to-day operational needs and priorities

- Screen and prioritize incoming communications and requests

- Anticipate the CEO's needs and proactively provide solutions

- Process expense reports and handle administrative paperwork

- Coordinate projects and follow up on decisions made by the CEO

- Research and compile information for decision-making

## Required Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of executive assistant experience, preferably supporting C-level executives

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- Proven track record supporting leadership in a fast-paced environment

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, virtual meeting platforms, and project management tools

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to prioritize competing demands with minimal supervision

- Experience handling confidential information with discretion

- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

- Adaptability and problem-solving mindset

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the transportation, logistics, or related industries

- Previous remote work experience demonstrating strong self-management

- Experience supporting executives with heavy travel schedules

- Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted partner to an executive

## Work Environment

- Primarily remote position with occasional in-person meetings/tasks

- Flexible hours with core availability during business hours

- Some early morning or evening availability required to accommodate meetings across time zones
