Welcome to Bosch Rexroth.Job DescriptionOur Electronic Repair Technician’s work in a fast paced technical service environment and work independently with safety in mind. The Technician will perform electronic repairs (board level repair), evaluations, updates, and conversions in a timely and efficient manner. Fully function test each unit repaired, run under load when applicable, order necessary components and properly document work orders. The objective is to maintain a short turnaround time, high quality standards and decrease customer downtime.

Follow inspection, evaluation and testing procedures to ensure the repaired products meet factory specifications. Observe electrical products handling safety codes and regulations

Troubleshoot, repair and/or convert servo drives and industrial controls as needed to support business growth

Provide feedback to the factory of product performance data collected through service and repairs for use in future product designs

Assist with product failure analysis and offer preventive maintenance to customers

Work with high voltage including voltages up to 480 VAC 3 phase and 1,000 VDC

Work with high amperages up to 250 amps

Prepare technical repair reports

Update product in stock per quality requests

Wear safety glasses and safety shoes

Work occasional overtime and weekends

Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Perform other related duties as assigned

QualificationsBASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of an Electrical/Electronic Technologist or Industrial Electrician diploma is an asset

Computer literacy with common computer applications. servo application software experience a plus

Aptitude in machine functionality

Familiar with the automation market and industrial customer needs

Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills

Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently

Committed to success of the company and the customer

Must have a minimum of 1+ years of soldering experience

Must have at least 3+ years of Electronic Repair Technician experience

Must have at least 1+ years of experience reading electronic schematics and using testing / measuring equipment
