Position OverviewNavistar is looking to add a Senior Manager – Warranty Finance that will manage the analyses within the warranty finance group and serve as a primary business partner to the Director of Warranty & Customer Solutions.Responsibilities
Leads the liability estimation analysis for financial reporting of standard warranty, goodwill, campaigns, and other warranty coverages.
Oversees the long-term internal forecast and short term budget for warranty coverages and partners with business to identify risks and opportunities of future experience.
Collaborates with Reliability & Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional business partners to support assumptions for warranty analyses and forecasts of new vehicles (“e.g. EV”) or issues.
Assist the business with financial modeling and performs ad hoc analyses such as cost benefit analyses.
Manages the use of large datasets to support the warranty analyses and mitigates risk through establishing reasonable control checks.
Takes active role in identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient and developing business insights.
Communicates technical results to various stakeholders in clear and supportable presentations.
Minimize warranty liability true ups absent unexpected operational issues.
Achieve and maintain high forecasting accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 6 years of business process experience
3 years lead experience
OR
Master's degree
At least 5 years of business process experience
3 years lead experience
OR
At least 10 years of business process experience
3 years lead experience
