Hours:7am-3:30pmQPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Trainee for a company in Quincy, IL. This is a contract to hire role.CNC Trainee Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up the CNC machines to run production parts
- Change wire sizes as needed and straighten the wire after it is installed on the CNC machines
- Remove and install all tooling on the machines that is required to make parts
- Program the CNC machines to make the parts to the correct dimensions
- Read and understand dimensional drawings and measuring tools
- Utilize some secondary equipment to complete the forming process of the parts
- Work with the quality people for verification that parts are correctCNC Trainee Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Able to take direction and apply it
- Must be able to lift 10-15lbs consistently throughout shift; up to 50lbs occasionally
- Must be able to stand for longer periods of time up to 8-hours
- Must be able to finger, grasp, and pinch
- Must be able to bend throughout shift occasionally
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled areas
