Manager, Indirect Tax

Position Responsibilities:  

The Tax Manager leads the Sales & Use tax group within the Tax Team, overseeing tax computation, payment, audit defense, exposure analysis, and systems improvement while collaborating closely with other business units

As a Tax Manager, you will provide strategic leadership in designing, implementing, and preparing tax-related initiatives and processes.

You will oversee and manage the compliance process to ensure all deadlines are met and regulatory requirements are satisfied.

This role will collaborate with tax, finance, and business units across the company to address and resolve complex tax issues.

You will lead a team to ensure timely completion of statutory compliance deadlines, while maintaining and reconciling data within the ERP system (SAP) and tax calculation engine (Vertex O-Series).

Additionally, you will act as the primary contact for tax-related inquiries, manage exemption certification processes, coordinate tax audits, and oversee special projects as required.

Required Education and Experience:  

Bachelor's Degree with 5 plus years of related experience and 2 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) with 8 plus years of specific experience and 3 plus years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience:  

Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
