The Sr. Brand Manager, Marketing is responsible for crafting the long-term strategy of several of our “core” product lines / core brands which may include Goldbears, Happy Cola, Twin Snakes and/or other HARIBO brands for HARIBO of America. Working with internal and external partners, the Sr. Brand Manager, Marketing will help build product differentiation, market positioning, create superior brand propositions, and execute integrated marketing plans. Specifically, they will define the brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, innovation pipeline, advertising, and promotion strategies ensuring the achievement of profit, volume, and market share objectives. The Sr. Brand Manager, Marketing will drive demand for the HARIBO of America business and play an integral role in product initiatives, brand health tracking, marketing plan execution, and field sales communication. Reporting up to the Director of Brand Management - Marketing and located on-site, with some hybrid flexibility ( 4 days in office, 1 day remote) at our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois , the ideal Sr. Brand Manager, Marketing will have at least five (5) years of progressive work experience in brand marketing roles with the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry, a minimum Bachelor’s Degree – MBA preferred, and demonstrated success anticipating future business opportunities and developing marketing strategies to drive the brand forward. Ensure in-market performance aligns with annual business objectives, including consumption, market share, and household penetration

Lead the execution of marketing plans, including consumer promotions, social media campaigns, sampling events, and other strategic initiatives

Leverage syndicated data and other data sources to derive insights into the brand, category and competition, making actionable recommendations for growth

Build and maintain strong partnerships with external partners, including creative agencies and vendors

Define marketing messaging strategy and oversee the creative development for product initiatives, including new production launches and core product renovations

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive work experience in brand marketing within the consumer goods industry

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing , Business, or related field

Experience utilizing syndicated data such as IRI, Circana, Nielsen, or other similar forms of syndicated data to make business decision and recommendations

Experience working in brand management directly for the manufacturer and/or distributor. Working directly for the brand.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA preferred

Experience in FMCG – Fast Moving Consumer Goods, preferably in candy, confectionary, or salty snacks

Experience working directly for the brand/manufacturer and partnering with creative agencies, advertising agencies, and vendors to executemarketing initiatives

Demonstrated experience identifying, building, and delivering growth initiatives in the fast-moving consumer packaged goods industry

Exceptional management and leadership skills with consensus building and the ability to influence others without formal authority

Strong analytical skills and creative problem solving skills

Skills

Advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience with IRI, Circana, or Nielsen scanner data reporting and analysis
