Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. As an Accountant, you will be involved in various accounting functions, handling payroll, full cycle accounting, and working with accounting software systems. Your responsibilities will also include the management of accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and balance sheet account preparation.Responsibilities: Manage and execute full cycle accounting tasks Process payroll and monitor weekly cash flow forecast Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite and Excel Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate records Conduct regular audits to guarantee compliance and accuracy Reconcile all accounts on the ledger, including cutting checks and managing ACH Monitor the accounts payable inbox (digital/physical) and respond promptly to inquiries Collaborate with US Bank to automate processes through NetSuite Prepare and present monthly financials Assist in HR and insurance related tasks Adapt and provide assistance in various tasks when necessary. Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Payroll functions and backup Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Demonstrated ability to perform various accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform auditing tasks Experience in managing balance sheet accounts Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
