Description This Senior Financial Analyst position with one of our clients in the Hospitality industry is an exciting long-term contract / contract opportunity. This role will be our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. To thrive in this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role, you will need to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments. Your responsibilities
Manage advantageous relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of integral business partners
Influence the accuracy and discretion of tracked financial results with Operations and Accounting in order to drive improved management reporting
Advance existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key issues, communicate integral updates to senior management
Team closely with Functional leads by executing management reporting, advising in accounting and compliance, and ensuring operational initiatives are in alignment with each other
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership
Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance
Execute assistance in all ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Help create sustainable business, operational, and financial processes to be understood by all necessary teams Requirements - Able to think critically and operate effectively with management
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Track-record in process reengineering and optimization
Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Prior experience in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Earlier work involving SAP
International experience experience highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
Adeptness in financial reporting
Microsoft Excel experience
Practical knowledge of International business
Microsoft Power BI experience
General familiarity with business analysis
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
Background working with SAP CO
Billing experience
Order to cash experience
Proven knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
