Description Seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist!Company Overview: We are a leading national corporation headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Due to an unprecedented increase in business, we are currently looking to hire a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing job duties including reconciling processed work, verifying entries, charging expenses to accounts and cost centers, and maintaining accounting ledgers.Key Responsibilities: Receiving and processing invoices for payment. Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents. Responding to vendor inquiries. Reconciling supplier statements, bank statements, and financial reports. Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports. Ensuring that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures. Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Dynamics GP and Concur is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possession of state wastewater certifications preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow oral and written technical directions. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with employees, customers and the public.
