Executive Chef Specialist

Summary Within Parkview Health, supports Nutrition Services in planning and using culinary skills for successful catered events and special operations. This position will ensure exceptional customer and culinary services to our customers and guests, which include all within Parkview Health and community partners. He/she is responsible for providing excellent high quality catering while promoting teamwork and organization using exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.EducationHigh School Diploma. Culinary Arts Degree preferred.Licensure/CertificationServ-Safe or some other HACCP certification required within six months of hire date.ExperienceMinimum of five years experience in food service operations. Minimum of two year Culinary/Kitchen management experience, including fine dining experience. Experience in Health care is preferred.Other QualificationsWork is performed in an area that is adequately lighted and ventilated. Physical Demands: Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as above-average agility and dexterity, and long periods of walking, standing, bending or carrying moderately heavy items. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities: Perform water/wastewater treatment system operations and maintenance. Operate and maintain sewer (pump stations). Respond to water and sewer emergencies. Perform water / wastewater sampling and monitoring. Perform laboratory analysis for water/wastewater treatment systems. Perform housekeeping and facility maintenance. Keep accurate records. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 1 year of relevant water / wastewater treatment experience preferred. Possession of state wastewater certifications preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow oral and written technical directions. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with employees, customers and the public.
