Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easy-to-understand and concise format. Problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment may succeed this Desktop Support Technician role. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity, is located in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area.Your responsibilities
Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions
Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Requirements - 1+ years of desktop support or other related experience
Image Deployment experience
Well-founded grasp of Desktop Imaging
Quality experience with ServiceNow
Setup Configuration experience preferred
Earlier work involving Ticketing System
General familiarity with Computer Imaging
Wide ranging experience with Ticketing System
Proven knowledge of MS Windows 10
Practical knowledge of Imaging Devices
Experience with Microsoft Office 365
Foundational knowledge in PC desktop/workstations
User Setup experience
