Pay for this part-time position starts at $13/hour plus tips which average an additional $5+ per hour. Working evening and weekend shifts is required for this position. Keep in mind that #GooseTheMarket closes at 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends at 2503 N Delaware St #Indy 46205
The Cheesemonger/Sandwich Maker assists guests in selecting cheeses, charcuterie, and the perfect pairings by engaging customers with a friendly demeaner, excellent product knowledge, and an infectious excitement for delicious products.
They slice and package cheeses and cured meats to order, arrange beautiful charcuterie boards, make sandwiches, and assist in other food preparation. Work also includes doing dishes, cleaning cases, mopping floors, and maintaining Goose’s high standards for organization and cleanliness.
The ideal candidate is passionate about great food and drink, has a positive attitude and enjoys working face-to-face with customers, prioritizes guests’ experiences, and thrives as part of a team. Prior experience is a plus but not required, and on-the-job training is provided.
