Kitchen Attendant / Cook wanted
No nights and virtually every weekend off! Unheard of in the food industry! Perfect for people who need evening and weekends off but enjoy a restaurant environment. Courteous people who are passionate about good food are who we are looking for. A small cafe in a government office complex is well suited for an enjoyable work atmosphere.
This is a Monday Through Friday position
Hours:
Monday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Tuesday - Thursday: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Federal Holidays we are closed.
Job duties include:
1. washing dishes
2. taking out trash
3. work front line grill
4.work the fryer
5.Clean the floors including sweeping and mopping
6. Receiving stock, rotating stock and pulling stock with First In First Out procedures
7. Put up and tear down salad bar daily
8. make pre made salads and veggie bags on Mondays
9. Stock drink coolers and fill ice in fountain machine.
10. Wipe down tables and chairs.
11. Clean kitchen and scullery and prep for next day.
Job requirements:
Must be able to pass a Federal Background check, this is at a Federal government site.
Must have a current government issued ID-if you drive to the site you must have a current drivers license.
Must be able to work in a sanitary manner.
Must be a safe worker and not take shortcuts.
Must be able to follow directions of Lead Cook and owner to perform job duties.
ServSafe certified is a plus!
Must have reliable transportation
