Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated cleaner with experience in deep cleaning and move-out cleaning. You will be responsible for following a detailed cleaning checklist to ensure a high standard for each job. Top Shelf Cleaning LLC provides all required insurance for working with apartment complexes and private residents, so you can focus on delivering great service. We also handle client acquisition, scheduling, and the majority of client communication, allowing you to concentrate on the work itself.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough move-out cleaning for apartments, following a detailed checklist to ensure every task is completed
- Clean common areas, including hallways, staff offices, clubhouses, gyms, and workstations
- Optionally assist with housekeeping and occupied home cleaning as our services grow
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Communicate professionally with apartment management staff or homeowners to address specific cleaning needs
- Supply your cleaning tools and materials (or use company-provided supplies if preferred)
Compensation:
- All jobs, including move-outs and consistent or larger jobs (such as hallways and common spaces), follow the pay structure below:
- 50/50 split if you provide your supplies and materials
- 60/40 split (60% to the company, 40% to the cleaner) if supplies are provided by the company
- Pay Schedule: Every two weeks, 1099 independent contractor
Requirements:
- Prior experience in deep cleaning and move-out cleaning is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with property management or homeowners
- Reliable transportation to job sites around Indianapolis
- Ability to work independently and meet quality standards by following our checklist
- Must supply personal cleaning equipment and materials, or use company supplies at the adjusted pay rate
