Job Responsibilities for Industrial Maintenance Technician
Work on high-speed automated systems
Maintaining industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics, to include:
Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers and wiring methods/materials
Install, inspect, maintain, and disassemble industrial machinery
Repair and replace malfunctioning or broken components
Replace sensors, cylinders, pneumatics, and other key equipment components
Maintenance of gearboxes, pneumatics, conveyors and equipment using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring
Maintain Material Handling Systems, such as conveyors, case erectors and sortation equipment, to include:
Capable of quickly coming up to speed and becoming fully competent in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment such as, but not limited to, Conveyors, Dot matrix printers, pumps, mixers, dispensing units for fluids, air-vey units, presses, small ovens, hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Electrical control systems, Extruder system
Troubleshooting PLC ladder logic (read use for troubleshooting), components (CPU back plains, I/O boards, counters, modules, and devices) and communications protocols
Modifying programming codes to change the operation of conveyors and interpreting multiple programming code languages
Basic troubleshooting of HVAC equipment
Performing other general warehouse tasks as assigned
Inputting information in CMMS programs
Attention to details, problem solving and able to read/interpret maintenance documentations
Ability to work in potentially loud and odorous environments, different physical environments, or in various weather conditions
The best candidates for the Industrial Maintenance Technician positions will have:
Ability to move about in the processing areas and be able to do the following: lift and carry 50 pounds, stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull equipment
A proven ability to troubleshoot all MHE peripherals
Read, write, and speak in English and work in a team environment
Computer literate with prior experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), SAP experience a plus
Able to develop and apply mechanical/problem solving skills, preferred
