Job Description:The Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology at Iowa State University is seeking an Administrative Assistant II.This position will provide professional administrative support to the department chair. Core responsibilities include managing the department chair’s calendar, distributing and uploading information, managing/developing the departmental website, and scheduling and coordinating department meetings, interviews, and visits.This position will also serve as liaison for chair, faculty, and staff with other university units and personnel ; maintain listservs ; manage faculty review and promotion/advancement materials ; and facilitate to the extent possible the duties of faculty, staff, and students in an administrative support capacity.
