Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in the non-profit sector. Our workplace is located in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky, United States. The primary function of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of our housing program by maintaining accurate data, assisting in the recording and reporting of housing data, and dealing with the public in a confidential and tactful manner.Responsibilities: Ensure initial and triennial eligibility for the public housing program Assist the site manager in recording and reporting housing data Maintain confidentiality while handling personal and financial information of residents Use proficiency in Excel and Word to manage and organize data Provide superior customer service to residents and the public Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy Maintain both digital and paper files in an organized manner Understand and adhere to the Fair Housing and Authorization Processes Demonstrate detail-oriented skills in managing housing programs. Requirements Proficiency in data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and efficiency Exceptional customer service skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Experience with paper filing systems and knowledge of efficient organization techniques Competence in managing digital files, including creation, organization, and retrieval of documents Understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations, and ability to apply them in administrative tasks Familiarity with various authorization processes, including document verification and approvals Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments High level of professionalism, demonstrating respect and integrity in all interactions Detail-oriented nature, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed Proven problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions when necessary.
