Position Title: Aeronautic Mechanical Design Engineer

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established defense contractor on a fast-paced team of engineers as you design innovative modifications and improvements for various C-130 platforms.

Primary Functions:


  • Design original components and assemblies as well as modify existing components

  • Create and revise engineering drawings and documentation

  • Perform Design Engineering duties related to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)

  • Communicate effectively and regularly with fellow design engineers, manufacturing, documentation control, and installation crews


This role includes design and drafting work as well, and as such your designs will comply with applicable military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and other related design and drafting standards.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Familiarity with CATIA CADD system, preferably CATIA V5R26

  • Familiarity with Teamcenter
