Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Lexington, Kentucky. This role primarily involves managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general accounting, and consulting tasks. The successful candidate will be adept at using ERP systems, general ledger, QuickBooks, and financial reporting. Responsibilities Managing the processing of accounts payable and receivable Regularly conducting bank reconciliations Maintaining and updating the general ledger Preparing and posting journal entries Managing the month-end close process Utilizing NetSuite and Oracle for various accounting tasks Regular use of QuickBooks for financial reporting Leveraging SAP for accounting processes Regularly conducting AR and AP duties Offering accounting and consulting services as needed. Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations. Must have experience maintaining and managing the General Ledger. Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately. Experience with Month End Close procedures is required. Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software is essential. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities are necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines. Should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Professional certification like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus but not mandatory. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must have a strong ethical standard and integrity.
