Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions? Properly stores food in accordance with standards? Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.? Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations? Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers? needs? Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels? Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.? Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation?   • Summary This position is located at the VA Health Care System in Lexington, KY. The incumbent serves as, Laundry Worker, in the Sanitation Section of the Environmental Management Service. The Medical Center is a tertiary care facility that provides acute medical, surgical, neurological, and mental health inpatient services with a 99-bed complement at the Cooper Drive Division. Responsibilities Duties Include but are not limited too: The Laundry Worker must analyze work schedules, determine manpower requirements, materials, methods, procedures and equipment required to, accomplish any objective. The incumbent adjusts the workload and the work flow, taking into consideration delivery schedules, equipment, and work force.
