Grade 2 (Hourly)Position Description:The Eating Anxiety and Treatment laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of Louisville is seeking a full-time Research Assistant I (40 hours/week). The position primarily involves assisting with clinical and non-clinical studies centered around the topic of eating disorders.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include communicating with clinic research sites, communicating with participants over email, in person and over the phone, assisting with project design and organization, assisting with data collection in the lab, online, and in the clinic, assisting with grant applications, entering and coding data, supervising undergraduate and graduate assistants, maintaining databases, purchasing supplies, and general organizational activities.Preferred QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in psychology, computer science, or engineering and at least 2 years of psychology research experience or lab management experience.Interest in psychological research, experiences working with clinical populations, strong technical and computer skills, and a commitment of at least 1 year (extendable depending on fit and availability of funding).Sociable, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.CompetenciesRequires very good competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Redcap, as well as the ability to communicate with clinical and non-clinical populations. The Financial Assistant II will provide financial and administrative support for members of the Center under the direction of the Director, Business Unit Administration. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to seek out information and solve problems. Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED and two or more years of dental assisting experience. One year of surgical assisting experience and/or Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) or Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA), radiology certification, CPR certification. Additional certification may be required based on dental specialty.Position Description:We are seeking a part-time team member for a temporary (6-month) position. This position will transition to a full-time temporary position around August. The Dental Assistant II position is located on the campus of University of Louisville-Paducah Clinic, 5200 Alben Barkley Dr., Anderson Technical Building, Rm 230, Paducah, KY 42001. This position works as a chairside dental assistant, working with dental providers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position will work with the faculty, peers and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented, and patient centered care.
