HOW CAN YOU HELP US?We are looking for a hands-on Business Unit Manager (Microbiology) to lead and transform our Food Testing laboratory in Louisville, KY This role is focused on operational excellence, cultural transformation, commercial growth, and business performance, and is well suited to candidates coming from food production, laboratory, or other highly regulated environments.What team will you be part of?You will join the Eurofins Food Testing US organisation, working closely with the President and reporting into the leadership structure of the site.The role is based at our site in Louisville, KY.As Business Unit Manager,  you will:Take full ownership of the Business Unit P&L, driving performance, efficiency, and profitabilityLead day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring high-quality delivery and turnaround timesDrive a cultural transformation, shifting the team towards a more proactive, accountable, and performance-driven way of workingBuild structure through KPI management, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement initiativesLead and develop a team of 40 employees (indirect) through strong, visible, hands-on leadershipEnsure business continuity and customer satisfaction, maintaining strong relationships with key clientsCollaborate closely with the President to align operational delivery with customer needs and growth ambitionsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and overall site performance
