We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team and assist in DNA sequencing using Oxford Nanopore Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a background in molecular biology and laboratory techniques.Key Responsibilities:Perform DNA extraction, purification, and preparation for sequencing experiments.Operate and maintain Oxford Nanopore sequencers.Prepare sequencing libraries using Oxford Nanopore protocols, ensuring quality and accuracy.Troubleshoot and optimize sequencing runs for improved data quality and throughput.Analyze sequencing data for quality control, including base calling, alignment, and data visualization.Perform routine maintenance and calibration of sequencing equipment to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate across teams to provide technical support and ensure project timelines are met.Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities, including experimental protocols, results, and quality control measures.Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and quality assurance standards in the lab.Stay up-to-date with advancements in DNA sequencing technologies and methods.
