Date: Apr 29, 2024 Location: Louisville, KY, US, 40258 Company: PACCAR Short Description We are currently hiring Operations Specialist for the evening shift at our Louisville, KY location. Operations Specialist work in a manufacturing environment building components for Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.

Evening shift works Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 12:00am

Effective July 3rd, 2023 pay starts at $22.05 per hour with advancement to $25.38 after 30 months of employment based on performance

PACCAR offers 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision, 401k, and pension

Opportunity to move to other shift during shift polls :

Day shift works Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm

Night shift works Sunday to Thursday from 9:30pm to 6:00am

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Position involves standing up to 8-hours per day

Use of hand, pneumatic, and vibratory tools

Use of machines with moving and cutting parts

Push/pull/lift/carry up to 75 lbs.

May require repetitive wrist movement

Ability to read and write in English and be able to follow written and oral directions found on items such as build papers

Must have excellent manual dexterity

Qualifications MANUFACTURING/ASSEMBLY -Battery Cables, Hoses, and Hardlines

Occasional twisting/rotating at the waist

No heavy lifting or lifting above head

Axles, DEF Tanks, and Battery Box

Lifting is done with a hoist

Small parts work

Occasional overhead lifting of lighter weights

DISTRIBUTION/RECEIVING/STOCKING & PICKING -Rolling Stock (Reach Trucks, Sit-Down Fork Lifts, Stock Pickers, and Pallet Jacks)

Lift/carry up to 35 lbs.

Push/pull/lift/carry can occasionally involve 100 lb. hose reels

Occasional twisting push/pull body motions to maneuver rolling stock

Repetitive motion involved in throttling back and forth

Frequent squatting and kneeling

Perform special projects as assigned

Education

A high school diploma or GED is required.
