Ensures the physical security and safety aspects of the complex. Manages programs and processes to safeguard the welfare and assets of all guests and team members of Maryland Live.ResponsibilitiesWhere You'll Make an Impact:Aides with the preparation and management of budget for the security department

Manages performance of the Security department shift managers, supervisors, EMTs and officers. Ensures protection and safety of guests and team members.

Manages staffing levels to ensure proper coverage of officers in all areas across all shifts.

Coordinates staff training and may have interviewing, hiring, and performance management responsibilities as directed.

Manages programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.

Review security activities with appropriate department leaders

Establishing and maintaining working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to include community involvement.

Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.

Manages property emergency and disaster plan.

Manages program to deny under age people access to gaming areas.

Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMust-Haves:

Five (5) to seven (7) year(s) experience in security in investigations, surveillance, and patron/property liability of high-volume business or industry with 2 year(s) experience with managing people and processes.

A four (4) - year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.

You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such an environment.

Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Lives operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

TheResortis large and fast paced, requiring the ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency!

Keyboarding 25%

Use of going up and down stairs multiple times per day and elevators.

24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability and willingness to meet the team members schedules when handling matters regarding scheduling, team member relations and staffing.
