Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is searching for Experienced F-15 Structural Modification Technician to join the team in New Orleans, LA.Sign-on bonus available based on candidate eligibilityThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

Coordinates assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Solves sophisticated problems pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.

Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).

Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Complete training.

Works under general direction.

Structures Mechanic :

Able to perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas.

Ability and understanding of locating blind holes necessary for installation of new structural items to existing structure.

Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.

Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.

Experienced in the use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered activeBasic Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in military aircraft maintenance and/or modification

Minimum of 1 year of experience aerospace structures maintenance

Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
