Description Robert Half is in search of a skilled and seasoned HR Director to join our New Orleans's clients' expanding team. We're seeking a proactive HR professional to become part of our clients' organization, making a tangible, positive impact on the team. As the HR Director, your mission will be to ensure the recruitment and retention of top-tier individuals within the organization, while ensuring compliance across multiple states. You'll be the point of contact for employee concerns, fostering an employee experience aligned with culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals. This vital role involves the formulation and execution of a human resource strategy that aligns with the organizational business plan and strategic vision. Your focus areas will encompass talent management, change management, organizational and performance enhancement, training and development, and compensation. You'll provide strategic guidance by articulating HR requirements and strategies to business unit leaders and department heads. This role requires a versatile individual who can seamlessly manage day-to-day HR operations to support the organization.The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of human resource experience, including at least 1-2 years of HR leadership. This is a full-time, direct hire position located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Lead and guide the HR function, overseeing global talent acquisition, career development, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, DEI, and benefits.

Implement HR initiatives that effectively communicate and reinforce the company's mission and strategic vision.

Handle day-to-day HR administration across all HR areas.

Manage bi-weekly payroll processing.

Collaborate directly with hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment cycle.

Serve as a counselor to employees, addressing all employee concerns and complaints.

Conduct audits and oversee 401K, benefits, payroll, and employee data.

Create HR plans, policies, and procedures to align with overall business operations.

Offer strategic business advice to management across business units and departments concerning critical organizational and management matters.

Collaborate with executive management to establish a robust management succession plan in line with the firm's strategy and objectives.

Develop comprehensive strategic plans for recruiting and retaining talent that aligns with strategic objectives.

Design and implement competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits plans.

Enjoy substantial autonomy and assume significant responsibilities within the role.

Undertake other essential tasks as required.

Requirements

Preferred certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); and/or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.

Proficiency in HRIS, Applicant Tracking, and other company systems (experience with ADP is a plus!).

Demonstrated aptitude in Employee Relations and resolving employee conflicts.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Capable of working under tight reporting deadlines, delivering accurate results.

Effective multitasking, time management, and task prioritization abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with exceptional customer service skills.

Strong planning and organizational skills, along with the ability to initiate tasks independently.

Adaptable to varying workloads in time-sensitive environments, consistently delivering precise and efficient outcomes.

Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at different hierarchical levels.

Remarkable precision, attention to detail, and respect for confidentiality.
