Hiring Line Cooks at The Send Brewing Co. in South Portland
The Send Brewing Company is a brewery and restaurant in South Portland’s Knightville neighborhood, serving craft beer and Japanese comfort food. We’re seeking friendly, motivated, and hardworking Line Cooks who share our passion for cooking and teamwork.
What You’ll Do
- Keep your station clean, safe, stocked, and organized — following company standards and health department guidelines
- Jump in on shared kitchen tasks: cleaning, organizing, opening/closing, receiving orders, etc.
- Work together with the team to keep things running smoothly
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, quality, and care
- Follow food safety and sanitation best practices
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests
- Help wrap up the day with closing tasks like prep lists and cleaning procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Some knowledge or training in basic cooking and food prep methods
- Passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow
- Team players who can stay positive and work well under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stay on your feet for up to 8–10 hours
- Flexibility with scheduling — restaurant life can be dynamic!
