Flooring Installer - Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Professionalism: Arrive on time with a positive attitude, ready to deliver exceptional service.
Preparation: Safeguard workspaces to ensure safe and efficient installations.
Documentation: Accurately interpret work orders, document progress, and confirm job completion.
Client Communication: Interact clearly and positively with clients to uphold quality standards and build rapport.
Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to company standards, ensuring optimal application conditions.
Weather Adaptability: Address and adjust to weather-related challenges during installations.
Material Handling: Set up, mix, and apply chemicals and materials precisely to achieve premium finishes.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any challenges during installations.
Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to safety protocols while maintaining clean worksites and vehicles.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure flawless coating applications.
Time Management: Efficiently manage schedules and meet project deadlines.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications for Flooring Installer
We’re looking for a motivated professional with the following qualifications:
Experience: Preferred experience in floor coating or related fields, such as painting or surface finishing.
Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using and quickly learning various tools and equipment.
Customer Service: Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks, including climbing stairs, crouching, crawling, or working in tight, unconditioned spaces.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to adhering to best practices.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent workmanship.
Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges effectively.
Adaptability: Flexible and eager to embrace change, learn new skills, and contribute to team success.
Transportation: Holds a valid driver’s license and has reliable transportation.
Driving Skills: Experience or willingness to learn how to drive company trucks and vans.
PPE Compliance: Willingness to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and no known allergies to epoxy or urethane products.
