This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Engineering and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and provide information systems security analysis or certification/validation to Program Executive Office (PEO), Army Command (ACOM), or Department of the Army and Enterprise level projects. Conduct detailed analysis of security requirements for new systems or modification to existing systems. Recommend and document total spectrum of security requirements from Federal, DoD and DA regulatory guidance, higher level policies, and system unique concerns. Analyze vulnerabilities to determine risks to the system and the GIG, considering system development and operational environments, threats, and vulnerabilities. Design security solutions and recommend countermeasures to mitigate risks. Prepare reports documenting the risks. AND Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Conducting detailed information assurance assessments of systems; 2) Proposing security solutions and/or recommend countermeasures to mitigate risks; and 3) Providing technical support or guidance in information assurance, certification/validation, or security accreditation.
