Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the person will be in charge of
assisting the operators in connecting, loading, unloading the rail cars and any
other required tasks.
Transferring hot liquid asphalt products for receiving, blending and shipping
purposes, including off-loading rail cars, trucks and ships;
Product testing and testing of boiler feed water;
Keeping the work environment in a clean state;
Maintaining written documents on each railcar;
Working with CSX on car placement and car removal;
Job includes a lot of outside work and also climbing of tank ladders up to heights
of 60 feet;
Possibility to be exposed to potentially dangerous environment;
Overtime hours when needed;
Entering tanks and confined spaces as needed;
Following all safety rules and maintain a clean safe working environment;
Rotating shift schedule, 12-hour shifts.
