Established Company is seeking an individual to join our team at our East Baltimore, MD MFG Facility.
The Production Welder Operator position performs all tasks involved in the production of the Company’s products using a MIG or TIG machine. This includes setup and fixturing and finish grinding.
Ideal candidate will be familiar with MIG & TIG welding processes and the use of fixtures to perform welding operations. Any certifications and/or training documents relevant to this position will be taken into consideration.
This person may also be asked to run other machines in the shop, such as presses, and to assemble product when welding is not needed.
Essential Functions:
Have knowledge and experience with TIG and MIG welding processes
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
Familiar with all forms of grinding and finishing of welds as required
Start up, stop, and setup the welding equipment
Scrap waste material from work area as required
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
Place finished goods on the designated pallet
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Load and unload items from machines, carts and dollies
