INTAKE COORDINATOR AND ADMINISTRATOR Bedford, MA$55K Annually What You Will Do:
Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources including consistent contact, outreach and follow-up for referrals, communication regarding clinician availability and current waitlists.
Maintain all programs referral waitlists, including regular follow-up with Individuals on the waitlist to confirm they still desire services and to update on current waitlist.
Initial outreach and screening to individuals on the waitlist, including screening for appropriateness for level of care, requesting initial insurance information, and requesting medical records.
Create and maintain community resource database and recommend to Individuals on the waitlist who are not able to wait for a staff person and/or are not appropriate for the level of care.
Establish relationships with clinic staff and learn their areas of expertise and schedule in order to appropriately match Individuals requesting services with the correct service/staff person.
Schedule initial intake sessions utilizing Outlook and Evolv Into staff's calendars and coordinate with Individual served.
Follow-up within 24 hours of a scheduled Intake to ensure Intake took place and confirm goodness of fit.
Coordinate with the billing department to check all insurances for eligibility, co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
Update weekly and monthly staff data, including MABHACCESS weekly staff.
Carry out special projects as assigned.
Who You Are:The Intake Coordinator will have a BA/BS; Excellent organizational, customer service skills and communication skills.
