Job SummaryEnvironmentally-motivated individual to support comprehensive sport sustainability projects and perform environmental assessments with a focus on greenhouse gas emissions accounting and management. Projects involve organizational evaluations, program implementation, emissions calculations, supply chain embedded carbon analyses, material management programs, environmental justice programs, and energy and water efficient resource utilization at customer locations, among other topics. This role will help conduct assessments using a digital emissions management platform, generate reports indicating overall sustainability baseline, and create operations and management plans. Has the ability to analyze impacts and recommend best practices. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support sustainability evaluations and solutions with a focus on greenhouse gas emissions accounting and impact reduction strategies

Manage data collection, organization, and input processes for environmental impact data from sports venues using a digital impact management tool.

Provide guidance and critical thinking related to measurement and management of scope 3 emissions sources prevalent in the sports and entertainment industry.

Facilitate feedback between customers and team’s data strategy lead to ensure that digital tools align with customer and industry needs.

Research GHG emissions reduction strategies and integrate social sustainability priorities.

Interact with customers, provide professional and prompt responses.

Analyze environmental impact data points, generate reports, and contribute to impact reduction strategies.

Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations.

Self-educate on current sustainability topics, issues, and trends; particularly related to greenhouse gas emissions measurement and reduction.

Responsible for organizing and interpreting data.

Other duties as assigned.

III. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability, Business or related field; or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience required.

Experience: Two (2) years of relevant work experience in project/business management (in addition to education requirement) required.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience with sustainability-related data collection and insights as well as experience with scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions measurement and prior experience working with sustainability consultants.

B. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Strong technical writing and editing skills

Knowledge of sustainability trends, specifically related to waste management, diversion, and sustainable materials

Computer and tech savvy – must be adaptable to new programs and systems

High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Comfortable with project travel up to two weeks at a time

Self-motivated and directed with a keen sense of urgency to deliver results while working remotely or at a customer site

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work long days and over weekends when required by events

Adept at decision-making

Interest in the sports and entertainment industry

Desire to learn new skill sets

Strong data management skills

Detail-oriented

Creative problem solving

Ability to travel up to 35% to operating sites on a frequent and regular basis

The expected salary range for this position is $55,800 – $80,155. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.In addition, this position is eligible for a 10% annual target bonus.IV.
