We are looking for a dynamic Chief Data & Analytics Officer who will be responsible for leading the transformation of GRS into a data-driven organization that utilizes machine learning and artificial intelligence to derive next gen insights that will enable our underwriters to outperform the market. Leads the exploration and use of existing and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence tools/techniques, while staying aligned with short- and medium-term business priorities and needs & take the lead on establishing an enterprise data governance model for GRS. Responsibilities:

Define the multi-year strategic roadmap for data science leadership by collaborating with the business and technology leaders to define scope, priorities and implementation plan.

Has primary responsibility for data governance, data strategy, data products, data solutions, data quality standards, and maintaining data to support analytics across GRS including all third-party data governance Help identify and drive key cross-functional use cases that create strategic and transformational value for our customers, agents, and employees.

Ensure data integrity and quality by governing the aggregation, monitoring, testing, metadata management and cross-production of data across the enterprise

Responsible for creating talent infrastructure to up-skill data employees to open source technology and cloud-based tools and concepts including Python, Hadoop and coding

Oversee Data Council and Procurement to define, identify, and acquire third party data to integrate with our existing data assets; create new, actionable offerings that can be leveraged by the market to drive improvements for operational efficiency and customer experience.

Lead strategic data discussions and work directly with the other key leaders to link their strategies and plans with those of the business

Stay up to date with new data technologies while identifying new external trends and data innovations.

Responsible for ensuring that the technology roadmap and investments are aligned with the business data strategy.

Provide transparency into planning and funding of functional IT initiatives that impact the roadmap.

Build organizational capability and drive a culture enabled by data

Qualifications:

Minimum of fifteen years’ in a leadership role with at least ten years’ experience in strategic data management roles with a track record of driving business outcomes by identifying and operationalizing data.

Strong leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role.

Strong experience building out, articulating, and delivering on business cases around data use and/or a data-centric business strategy.

Solid exposure to big data and/or big data architecture.

Demonstrated ability to integrate data strategies and programs across multiple functions.

Strong experience effectively influencing at all levels of the organization.

Must possess strong analytical, strategic, project management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
