Job Description
Responsible for accessioning surgical consult cases received by Pathology
Accession specimens according to approved protocols
Document materials received for consult cases
Perform clerical and technical functions required for core front-end laboratory operations
Serve as the liaison between clients and Pathology, managing the process for consult services and following up on the timely receipt of slides and blocks.
Qualifications
HS Diploma, AS or BS in Biological Sciences/Chemistry preferred
Basic Medical Terminology Knowledge
Strong computer skills
