With over 6M registrations per year, the MyLabs arethe world’s leading online homework, tutorial, and assessment system. The MyLabs are designed to increase engagement before, during, and after class to improve student outcomes.As a MyLabs product manager, you will work with a cross-functional team to develop simple and elegant solutions to current challenges in the higher education digital learning market.The ideal candidate must be comfortable with a high degree of product ownership and be able to manage and deliver on multiple projects efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high product quality and customer value. They should be a creative thinker, who can effectively communicate product vision across multiple cross-functional teams. Experience in higher education with a deep understanding of the teaching and learning challenges present in today’s college classrooms is a plus.RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a product owner within our Agile development team

Drive a solution set from conception to implementation

Create visual prototypes and design specifications

Create and manage a user-story backlog

Deliver a high-quality customer experience

Communicate the status of product deliverables to stakeholders

Become an expert with respect to the MyLab products, our customers and our competition

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Strong technical or scientific background

5 years of software product management experience

Experience working within an Agile environment

Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Top-notch problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Excellent teamwork skills, positive attitude and a sense of humor

Product development experience in educational technology

Ability to deliver a compelling presentation in front of small and large groups

This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America (10%)
