The Technical Product Owner is a seasoned technology leader responsible for shaping product vision, translating business needs into technical solutions, and driving the delivery of high-impact digital products. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring products are aligned with customer needs, technical feasibility, and organizational objectives.Operating within an Agile environment, the Technical Product Owner partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that drive measurable business value.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & VisionShape and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needsPartner with Product and Platform Managers to define product value propositions, success metrics, and go-to-market messagingAssess innovation opportunities and lead experimentation to solve complex business and technical challengesBacklog & Delivery OwnershipOwn and prioritize the product backlog, translating requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteriaBalance business value, technical feasibility, delivery efficiency, and cost optimization when prioritizing workAct as the “voice of the customer” to ensure solutions deliver the right outcomesFacilitate release planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectivesWork with Lead Engineers to balance technical debt with feature deliveryCross‑Functional CollaborationDirect collaboration across Engineering, UX, Analytics, Security, Compliance, and User Enablement teamsSynchronize with other product and platform teams to manage cross-squad dependencies and shared deliverablesEngage with third-party vendors and partners to support the delivery of team objectivesAgile Leadership & Continuous ImprovementEstablish and maintain Agile ways of working, policies, and best practicesMonitor and report on team performance, sprint metrics, and user outcomesDrive continuous improvement across the entire product lifecycleCoach and mentor junior team members on product, Agile, and delivery practicesGovernance, Reporting & DocumentationEnsure products meet security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance standardsOwn and maintain product documentation, technical reports, and internal artifactsDrive analytics and reporting to provide visibility into progress, risks, and outcomesPlan and support team resourcing efforts
