We are looking to add a Sous Chef to work directly with our Executive Chef. Responsibilities assigned by our Executive Chef will be for overseeing all daily activities including: directing food preparation, training new staff, managing employees, scheduling shifts, ordering supplies, etc.

Essential qualifications for this job are leadership, attention to details, supervisory skills, food preparation and storage expertise, teamwork, and good communication abilities. Those seeking to work as Sous Chefs should be able to display a degree in culinary arts in their resumes and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

We operate a fast casual restaurant and a Fine Dining restaurant. The fine dining restaurant is open Wednesday- Saturday for lunch, Thursday- Saturday for Dinner Service and Sunday Brunch which ends at 3 pm. In addition to this restaurant, we operate a fast casual outdoor dining area which is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 4 pm.

We have put a range of pay as the rate will be based on the experience of each individual applicant.

Pay Rate $27 to $32 per hour. Full Time Year Round

Experience working in a hands-on, fast paced, high volume environment

Must be able to stand and walk for periods of eight to ten hours in length each shift

Must be able to reach, bend, balance and, transport various objects weighing up to 30 lbs

At times it might be necessary to lift up to 50 lbs

Accountable for following and executing all state safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualified candidates will be asked to work a shift in the kitchen to demonstrate their skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
