POSITION SUMMARYJoin Centerboard as a clinician and play a key role in supporting youth in our residential programs. You’ll provide individual, group, and family therapy to residents aged 13-19, while working as part of a treatment team. You’ll help translate trauma-informed care principles into practice, guiding staff and shaping treatment plans. This role involves a caseload of eight residents and offers opportunities for growth at any stage of your career.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESConduct trauma-informed intakes and assessments for new residentsDevelop and implement treatment plans with youth and the treatment teamProvide individual, group, and family therapyEnsure continuous care through coordination with internal and external servicesFacilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups as requiredMonitor youth progress and adjust interventions as neededCollaborate with staff through weekly meetings and clinical supervisionAssist with crisis intervention and behavioral support in the milieuMaintain client records and ensure documentation is up to dateParticipate in on-call rotation and attend required trainingsSupervise and support the ITR case manager and clinical internQUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in a related field, with MSW and clinical social work experience preferredLicensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC) or working toward licensure preferredStrong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionExperience working with adolescents is a plusREQUIRED TRAININGS AND SKILLSCPR/First Aid, crisis management, trauma-informed care, and other related trainingStrong organizational skills, flexibility, and effective communicationOngoing professional development and multicultural awareness requiredSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise the ITR case manager and clinical intern, with weekly supervision and performance evaluations.
