Our client, a law firm located in Boston, is seeking a Filing Clerk to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity and can compensate up to $22/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!Responsibilities:Create new case files.Create and maintains pleadings binders.Manage and organize large and complex case files.File case documents in accordance with attorney preference and firm guidelinesPrepare and organize closed case files for storage.Retrieve and file document as needed.Assist with special projects as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel).Knowledge of and ability to operate general office equipment.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work with and take direction from multiple individuals.Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.Reliable with a professional demeanor.Prior legal experience within a law office, or interest in the legal field is a plus.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
